What Does a Cashier Do at Pick n Pay?

Transaction Processing: Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, scan items accurately, process cash and card payments, handle digital wallets, and ensure every transaction is completed correctly and quickly.

Cash Management: Count cash drawer at shift start and end, balance till accurately, identify counterfeit notes, process refunds and exchanges, and maintain cash handling integrity at all times.

Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions about prices and promotions, process loyalty programs (Smart Shopper) and gift cards, handle queries professionally, and create positive final impressions that encourage repeat visits.
