What Does a Delivery Driver Do at Pick n Pay?
Order Delivery: Collect packed customer orders from the store or distribution point and deliver them accurately and on time to residential and business addresses. Confirm orders with customers upon arrival and handle handovers professionally.
Vehicle Operation & Care: Operate Pick n Pay delivery vehicles safely and in compliance with road traffic laws. Conduct pre- and post-shift vehicle checks, report mechanical issues promptly, and maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle at all times.
Route Planning & Navigation: Use GPS and delivery management systems to plan efficient routes, manage multiple deliveries per shift, and adapt to traffic or access challenges to ensure on-time delivery performance.
